Ryoden, with annual sales totaling $1.9 billion as of last year, is one of Japan's top ten companies in the semiconductor sector, employing over 1,000 staff members.

It has expanded its operations to 11 countries outside of Japan and boasts a network of over 2,000 partner companies.

Primarily focused on factory automation (FA) systems, information and communication technology (ICT), and electronic product sales, Ryoden has recently diversified its portfolio to include ventures in smart farming and healthcare sectors.

According to a Vaultcreation spokesperson, the NDA signed this time carries significance as it comes after the completion of investigations into the 'V-glass' market.

CIPO Young-jae Kim stated, "This NDA includes discussions on specific business procedures between the two parties, encompassing not only the Japanese headquarters but also Ryoden's U.S. subsidiary. This business agreement seems to present a significant opportunity for international expansion."

V-glass, a special lens cover securing visibility developed with Vaultcreation's core technology, is currently undergoing sample testing with the Japanese automotive OEM 'N' company. V-glass, recognized with the CES 2024 Innovation Award and the Edison Award, provides clear vision even in rainy conditions or when foreign substances are present, garnering attention from domestic and international automotive and optical lens companies.

In particular, winning the Edison Award in the United States marked the first time a Korean company was recognized in the materials and substances category, spotlighting the technological prowess of South Korea's cutting-edge small and medium-sized venture enterprises to the world.

Vaultcreation will participate in the '2024 World IT Show (WIS 2024),' Korea's largest comprehensive ICT exhibition held at COEX from the 17th to the 19th. As part of the event, they will offer a limited quantity of 'V-glass' for rear-view cameras for free to booth visitors.
